Sneaker Invaders is an homage to one of the greatest culture waves of the past century. Worldwide people go to the furthest limits (sometimes too far, guys calm down) in order to put their hands on the latest kicks. Brands contend for the hype and in most cases this is thanks to a piece of rubber, synthetic leather & credibility.

As creatives and aficionados we wanted to animate this literal invasion into the youth culture through an experience, an experience that not only celebrated the hype but also some of the greatest pieces of design ever made. 

Our vision was that a great design can be recreated and recognized through 20 pixels.

Sneaker invaders is the creation of The PPW, a multi disciplinary design studio with over 10 years experience in the footwear & fashion industry working with various international brands in both product design & production; and Jacopo Pozzati, designer & retailer, creative and street culture aficionado having owned and managed some of the most influential sneaker stores in Italy like Backdoor Bottega, SOFT, La Ferramenta and current collaborations as a creative consultant with brands such as Kappa, Superga and Woolrich.

Together with the collaboration of some of the best game designer in the industry they set out to create more than a game but a literal virtual experience of the sneaker culture.
